The natural lanolin and warmth of the wool ripens gently and evenly; faster than a paper bag! Simply put a green avocado in the sock and set it on the counter. In a few days it will be perfect! It can even be used to store your ripe avocados to reduce spoilage. The Avocado Sock can also be used to ripen other fruits as well as to safely transport with reduced risk of bruising.
Made of 100% Shetland wool from a 200 year old mill in Scotland, it's knitted and finished in Canada. Hand wash in warm water with mild detergent and lay flat to dry.
